This all new version of AWeb, the culmination of six months of work, is now shipping. Totally re-written and re-designed for greater flexibility in future updates, it retains it's familiar GUI with many improvements, new additions, and more configurable options.

We appologize to both v2.x customers and new customers for the delay in shipping the new version, but we wanted to be sure that the new version was as reliable as possible. We think you will find it was worth the wait. See below for ordering information.

Some of the new features of AWeb-II v3.0 are:

• Full support for frames, table backgrounds, and more HTML features.
• Now has support for server push and client pull.
• Added support for proxy authorization.
• Internal FTP support.
• A new public plugin interface. Plugin modules can do their rendering directly in the AWeb browser window. The API (Application Program Interface) is available as a separate archive, contact Yvon Rozijn at yrozijn@xs4all.nl for further information. This provides support for anim and progressive image display, several modules are already under development, and will be made available as soon as possible.
• Standalone images are now shown in the AWeb window, or can use an optional external image viewer.
• More versatile cookie protection and a cookie alert requester. Cookie save file is now in readable form.
• Greatly enhanced and expanded Arexx command set.
• Now with Clipboard support, added Control Menu items, including copy block & drag-select text from a page and cut & paste to the URL field.
• New, fully configurable user buttons can be added below the existing toolbar.
• The Image and Link popup menues are now fully configurable.
• New template popup menu on the URL field.
• A new info window with HTTP transfer headers, meta information and current documents links.
• The Network status window now shows CPS rate.
• New powerful hotlist manager with dual windows, Add/Delete, In/Out/Move, and Sort/Find functions.
• Enhanced cachebrowser with find functions and able to delete multiple file entries.
• The Search function now highlights the text found.
• Improved greyscale palette.
• Added Project Menu item: edit HTML source with automatic page update.
• New Settings Menu items: load settings, save settings as, GUI settings.
• The No-proxy, No-cookie, and Do-not-cache lists are now sorted and support pattern matching.

• Updates to HTTX (html to text conversion/save/print), and AWebNews (online newsgroup reader) plugins.
• HTML-Heaven v2.1 (for html document creation), now with table and frame support added.

Current owners of AWeb may upgrade to version 3.0 for $20.00US / $27.00CAN, plus $5.00 shipping. Canadian orders only, please add 7% GST to the above for a total of $34.24CAN. Please include your registration information.

Customers purchasing or upgrading to AWeb-II v3.0 will receive a free update to v3.1 when it becomes available at a future date.

NOTE: We now have VISA for direct sales! Orders must be submitted via FAX or MAIL with card details and signature for authorization. It is our banks requirement that we have a signature on file, we are not trying to be difficult. All VISA orders are billed in CAN $, less GST on International sales. No phone orders please, and we're sorry, but we have no MasterCard access yet.
